Additional Costs:

There are certain fees required of all students studying at UCSD, regardless of whether they are local or international students. Other fees are optional.

Items such as recreation cards, books & materials, service fees, etc, are not included in tuition costs for most programs.

Please click here for additional costs.

Medical Insurance:

You must have high quality medical insurance to study in our programs. (Click here for minimum requirements.) Please bring proof of your insurance- a photocopy is fine.

If you do not provide us with proof of high quality medical insurance, at the time you pay tuition on arrival, we will automatically charge you for our own insurance.

The UCSD medical insurance policy covers hospitalization, with some exceptions, but not dental or eye care. Medical insurance fees are non-refundable.

Cell phone service is available, also. Providers can be found at nearby malls and on the internet.
