Who should take this course?

This program is for international students who have completed a university degree and 2 years of professional work experience in a business environment.

Language Requirements

You must have a TOEFL score of at least 550 or 79 on the internet-based (iBT)TOEFL or 760 on the TOEIC.

Days: Monday - Friday
Time: Mix of daytime and evening classes
Location: Most classes are held on the La Jolla campus. Access to a car or ability to carpool with another student is recommended as some courses may be held at our Sorrento Mesa location (about 10 minutes by car).
Length of Program: One quarter (10 weeks+1 week for final project)
Hours of Instruction: 18-25 hours per week

Admissions Requirements
  • A university degree OR very extensive work experience in the marketing field.
  • 2 years of professional work experience
  • University transcripts (in English) and/or Résumé or curriculum vitae
  • Essay: 200 words describing: 1) college coursework, 2) work experience, and 3) interest in the program
  • Recommendation letter from employer or professor on official company or university letterhead
  • English language proficiency:
    • TOEFL (preferred) - paper 550 or iBT 79
    • TOEIC - 760
    • IELTS - 6.0
    • Cambridge Advanced or Proficiency Exams - Pass
