Who should take this course?

This program is designed for professionals and students seeking to upgrade their English skills in the work place. Curricula include fundamentals of the English language, plus specialized courses in business specializations such as marketing and finance.

Open to Core 105 to 110 level students. High-intermediate to advanced levels only.

Intensive Business Fundamentals

This program is designed for professionals and students seeking to upgrade their English skills in the work place. Curricula include fundamentals of the English language, plus specialized courses in business specializations such as marketing and finance.

Open to students in core 103-104. Intermediate students only.

 

Program Features:

  • 25 hours a week
  • intermediate levels only (103-104)
  • Core class for fluency and greammar
  • Business sills development
  • Required business writing class (3 hr)
  • Special six-hour Business skills class providing: Developing Business Communication Skills, American Business Vocabulary, Class Presentations, and case studies

An additional nine hours per week chosen by students from this list:

  • Intermediate Academic Listening
  • Vocabulary Development
  • Conversation
  • American Culture
  • Reading
  • Intermediate Fluency and Presentation Skills
