Elizabeth lived in Seville, Spain and taught at the Instituto Cultural Mexicano-Noreamericano in Guadalajara, Mexico. In the U.S. she has taught a wide variety of ESL courses both in Chicago and at the Wisconsin English-as-a-Second Language Institute in Madison, Wisconsin. She was also an instructor of Spanish at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Besides teaching at UCSD, Elizabeth has taught in the ESL academic program at SDSU.
