HR Management Certificate ProgramThe modern practice of human resource management is dynamic. Professionals in the field are rapidly moving beyond the stereotype of regulatory compliance officers and into more proactive roles. Today's HR practitioners act as internal consultants, recruiting and developing talent, improving productivity, and contributing directly to the organization's overall success. UCSD Extension's Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management has helped hundreds of individuals enter the profession or expand their knowledge of the varied disciplines within the field. Required courses include instruction in staffing, employee and labor relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, workplace ethics, and current trends. Enrollees fulfill elective requirements by following a generalist track or choosing a concentration. Spring Quarter 2008 begins March 31, 2008. Enrollment is now open at the UCSD Extension website. For more information about the Certificate or specific classes, visit our web site or contact Joanna Cuevas at (858) 882-8033 or jccuevas@ucsd.edu. |
